iDRUM
iDRUM was founded by Davidson Elie (Conceptualist) in the year 2000, and was the first official organization to bring the iDRUM concept to above ground audiences. Heavily influenced by the cultural development of modern tribal music, iDRUM believes in the ancient energy that is percussion and it’s relevance in today’s world. Davidson and many of the iDRUM collective have performed before or with greats such as Little Louie Vega (M.A.W.), Mr. Fingers (Larry Heard), Blaze, Byron Stingily (Ten City), Miguel Migs (Naked Music), Osunlade, Dennis Ferrer and Joe Clausel.

SASHA DE LA-SOUL
Sasha De La-Soul is an experienced percussionist who has taken her musical talents to a new level entering the house scene in 2009. Playing mainly djembe and congas alongside international Djs such as Jihad Muhammad, Duce Martinez, Jojo Flores & Cndo, her passion and natural gift for music radiates in her dynamic and interactive performances.

CHICO PACHECO
CHICO PACHECO Born of Aboriginal Miq Mak Nation and Peruvian Native Incan descent, Chico Pacheco studied Latin and Brazilian percussion with Rick Shadrach Lazar (Samba Squad) and has provided live percussion with famed DJ’s such as Louie Vega (MAW), Miguel Migs, Black Coffee, Frankie Knuckles, Osunlade and Dennis Ferrer. Chico is currently studying capoiera with Contra Mestre Bola.

GURU BROS
Santosh Naidu and Gurtej Hunjan are the two musicians most associated with bringing traditional tabla studies to the field of electronic and house music. Both have played with Toronto Tabla Ensemble, and while Santosh has taken his skills to artists such as K-OS and Nelly Furtado, Gurtje is himself a DJ and electronic musician who joined iDrum in 2003, and began performing regularly at Toronto’s prestigious hot spots bringing the sound of the live drum to the dance floor.

DAVID FIGLIANO

An avid house music junkie, David Figliano’s training is predominantly in the traditions of Afro-Cuban and Brazilian Music.
