Our weekly tropical dance party features a beginner salsa lesson, live band and DJ spinning the hottest dance floor-friendly salsa, bachata, reggaeton and top 40 hits. Cover is just $15 at the door or book a table for our dinner special. The admission price includes our 9PM beginner dance lesson which is followed dancing all night long!

DINNER & SHOW SPECIAL - 7 PM to 10PM
Arrive early and enjoy Lula's famous dinner and show package. The three course prix fixe special includes choice of appetizer, main, and dessert as well as the dance lesson and all entertainment. Starting at just $49 per person, the dinner special guarantees seating for the whole evening. We can accommodate a small intimate dinner or large parties! DANCE LESSON - 9PM

You don't need a partner to enjoy our beginner salsa lesson! Featuring Toronto's top instructors, the class will lead beginners  through the salsa basics while more experienced dancers warm up for the best salsa party in town. The spectacular Miko is back with more dance steps to get you on the dance floor.

CONJUNTO LACALU - 10PM

Rooted in the Cuban sonora tradition, this group couples a dynamic three-trumpet horn section with a rhythm section featuring Afro-Cuban hand percussion, piano, bass, and tres.

Rooted in the Cuban sonora tradition, this group couples a dynamic three-trumpet horn section with a rhythm section featuring Afro-Cuban hand percussion, piano, bass, and tres. This particular instrumentation allows the group to achieve a classic sound while being sufficiently versatile to appeal to the myriad tastes of their contemporary audience. Conjunto Lacalu’s repertoire borrows heavily from its predecessors—such as Conjunto Clasico—yet also includes a number of original arrangements of salsa and pop standards as well as a growing catalogue of original compositions. Conjunto La-ca-lú! is co-directed by pianist Sean Bellaviti and percussionist Luis “Luisito” Orbegoso, and features some of this city’s most talented and hard working musicians. Whether you’re a salsa enthusiast or dance fanatic, it is likely that Conjunto Lacalu will be you’re #1 live music choice!
