Salsa Dancing

Lead by Venezuelan-born Miko Sobreira, this class draws on South
American street dance to encourage students to trust themselves and
others – emphasizing the importance of clear communication and mutual
support in learning and artistic environments.  A great way to break the ice and build cooperation with new groups of students – while enjoying
the some of the best salsa music ever! Conducted in Spanish or English.
(minimum number of students: 40)  $25 includes lunch, tax and tip. $12
class only

French World Café
Quebecois singer /songwriter / guitarist Joanna Moon is joined by
bassist and music educator Kevin Braun in this lively performance.
French World Cafe highlights the warmth of French musical culture as it
has flourished around the world — exploring songs from France, Quebec
and Africa. Students will learn how to play spoons as well as the lyrics to a French African song.
The performance is followed by an optional French meal served in French with the help of your students roleplaying as French waiters. The afternoon provides students with the opportunity to expand their knowledge of French culture and practice their
comprehension skills while gaining a better understanding of the phrase
“joie de vivre.”  Support study materials available in advance upon
request.  (minimum number of students: 40) $29 includes lunch, tax and
tip. $15 show only. Student arrival time 11am. Departure time 1:30pm.
